Western selects Advanced Utility Systems for new CIS solution
Riverside, CA and Toronto, Canada. December 17, 2008
Advanced Utility Systems (Advanced) announced today that Western Municipal Water District has contracted with Advanced to implement its flagship customer information system (CIS) and billing software, CIS Infinity.
Located in western Riverside County, California, Western services a general district area of 527-square miles with a population of over 825,000. The District provides water services to 24,000 retail customers and eight wholesale customers that consist of public and private water utilities and cities.
“Western Municipal Water District represents our sixteenth client in California. We are excited to continue growing our client base in the Southern California region. It has been a pleasure to work through the contract and scope phase with Greg Duecker at Western and the consulting firm Westin Engineering. We look forward to a long partnership with the District,” states Peter Fanous, Vice President of Sales for Advanced.
Western began its search for a new CIS solution during the fall of 2007. It was important to Western that it found a product that would meet its business requirements. As mentioned by Greg Duecker, Information Technology Manager for Western, "We were looking for a CIS product that could improve our customer service, efficiency, and automation that was also intuitive to navigate and use. During our evaluation process, we found CIS Infinity was the right fit."
Advanced is excited to begin the implementation of CIS Infinity in the New Year. The go-live date is projected for fall of 2009.
