Greater New Haven Water Pollution Control Authority Selects Advanced and CIS Infinity
New Haven, CT and Toronto, Canada. February 10, 2009
Harris Computer Systems ("Harris”) is pleased to announce that the Greater New Haven Water Pollution Control Authority (GNHWPCA), Connecticut has selected Advanced Utility Systems’ CIS Infinity.
Located in New Haven, Connecticut, home of Yale University, GNHWPCA provides sewer service to approximately 50,000 customers in New Haven and the Greater New Haven area.
Advanced replied to GNHWPCA’s request for proposal in April 2007 for a customer information and utility billing (CIS) software system. After a detailed evaluation process Advanced and CIS Infinity were selected as the finalist.
GNHWPCA represents the third Advanced Utility Systems client within the state of Connecticut, and Advanced’s first contract signing of 2009. Advanced Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, Peter Fanous credits the GNHWPCA team for their diligence during the selection process:
“From our initial dealings with GNHWPCA, it became clear that they had a strong understanding of their CIS requirements, and the work effort required to successfully implement a new CIS system. As GNHWPCA further evaluated Advanced and CIS Infinity, we found that their functional and project expectations were strongly inline with our implementation approach. We look forward to delivering an exceptional implementation to GNHWPCA.”
The GNHWPCA implementation of CIS Infinity is scheduled to begin this month.
