Elsinore Valley completes CIS implementation with Advanced

Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District (EVMWD) has completed a successful implementation of CIS Infinity, the customer information and billing solution from Advanced Utility Systems (Advanced).

EVMWD is a provider of reliable, cost-effective, high quality water and wastewater services for approximately 38,000 accounts. EVMWD sought out a replacement for their existing CIS solution because they needed a system that would support them in their continued customer service efforts.

“We wanted a system that would be effective and functional over the long term, explains Jim Ollerton, Director of Information Technology. “With CIS Infinity in place we can meet this requirement. CIS Infinity will be able to accommodate EVMWD’s expected customer growth rate year after and year and our impending rate changes.”

“With the implementation itself we knew the data conversion would be complex and that a lot of coordination would be needed for the go-live.” Mr. Ollerton goes on to say. “We were impressed with the accuracy in which the data conversion was completed. We also appreciated the additional help and extra organization Advanced provided towards the end to help drive us through to go-live.”

CIS Infinity is seamlessly integrated to Lawson’s Financial Application providing a comprehensive Enterprise Resource Planning Solution to EVMWD. CIS Infinity is also interfaced to EVMWD’s Asset Management Software, GIS application and Automated Meter Reading package.

In addition, EVMWD has implemented eCARE, the Advanced web-based customer care portal which will be used by its customers for self-service payments and bringing up usage statistic.
