Advanced brings Fulton County live on CIS Infinity
CIS Infinity offers up-to-date technology, comprehensive functionality and interoperability
Atlanta, GA and Toronto, Canada. March 31, 2009
Advanced Utility Systems (Advanced) has successfully brought Fulton County live on CIS Infinity. CIS Infinity will assist the County in furthering its commitment to operational efficiency as well as customer service.
With CIS Infinity, the County now has a modern, functionally rich customer information solution that replaced its 20-year-old legacy system. CIS Infinity provides a broad range of capabilities that were previously unavailable to the County. The benefits of this include increased billing accuracy and the ability to create rates more easily. CIS Infinity also offers the County five levels of reporting which consist of: the option to filter and export data; access to hundreds of standard reports; the ability to modify the standard reports; the ability to design customized reports and a function that allows users to share reports that they have created.
“Developing innovative and up-to-date functionality has always been our mandate when it comes to CIS Infinity,” states Steven Hammond, General Manager for Advanced. “This enables our clients to make their business processes more efficient which in turn assists in timelier customer service.”
As Prime Vendor, Advanced managed the implementation of CIS Infinity but also coordinated the full integration of its customer information system to the County’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System. This supports the County in quicker notification of completed service orders and more efficient routing of customer service calls to the correct parties.
“The interoperability that Advanced provided was done quickly and accurately while also minimizing costs,” notes Lee Poolman, Division Manager for Fulton County. “Their strategy protected our budget and we are now in a good position to offer enhanced customer service.”
Another initiative that the County will be introducing to their clients is credit card payment processing via eCARE – the Advanced online payment application.
Fulton County provides service to over 70,000 water and sewer accounts.
